High Salary Goalies

Corey Crawford – Chicago Blackhawks ($8,300): Crawford has inserted himself in the Vezina Trophy race with 31 wins, a 2.19 GAA, a .930 save percentage, and a league-best seven shutouts. Over his last 10 games he has just five wins, but he also has a 2.29 GAA and a .931 save percentage. He’s been carrying the team as of late and that won’t change tonight as he goes against the Rangers. The Blackhawks goalie averages 5.1 fantasy points per game.

Henrik Lundqvist – New York Rangers ($8,400): Lundqvist has been stellar in goal this season for the Rangers with 28 wins, a 2.29 GAA, and a .924 save percentage. He has eight wins over his last ten appearances with a save percentage of .936 with a microscopic 1.68 GAA. The Rangers netminder goes tonight against the Blackhawks averaging 5.2 fantasy hockey points per game.

Semyon Varlamov – Colorado Avalanche ($7,900): Varlamov is facing the most favorable matchup tonight as the Avalanche netminder squares off against the Canadiens who have struggled to score this season. Over his last ten games, Varlamov has a .932 save percentage and has six wins. He’s seeing the puck very well as of late so expect a big night from him. The Avalanche goalie averages 4.6 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value Goalies

Devan Dubnyk – Minnesota Wild ($7,300): Want a value option tonight? You’re stuck with either the Canadiens goalie (nope), Calgary’s goalie (a huge nope), or Dubnyk. Dubnyk is by a significant margin the most reliable value option. He did well in his last game and should rebound if the Wild continue to play better. The Wild netminder averages 4.1 fantasy hockey points per game.
