High Value PG

Tony Parker-San Antonio Spurs (4,800): There aren’t many options to love if you decide to save money at PG. Parker is definitely an option to consider if he’s active tonight against the Clippers.  He tweaked his ankle against Miami on Tuesday before the break and sat out Wednesday’s game in Orlando.  After the break to recover though, he should be back and ready to roll tonight.  Parker can definitely produce decent fantasy points, but he has been inconsistent at times this season.

Patrick Mills-San Antonio Spurs (4,500): Mills is the other cheap PG to take a look at, but with Parker’s likely return his ceiling is capped by coming off the bench.  Mills does have at least 19 fantasy points in five of his last six games including a very nice 37.5-fantasy-point performance against the Magic back on the first of the month. Mills came off the bench in that contest, and he made the most of Parker’s absence just before the break with 42 fantasy points against Orlando once again finishing with 17 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in 31 minutes.  He probably won’t get that much playing time tonight, but he’s still one of the better cheap plays on the board with tonight’s limited slate. With Parker-∗ No Parker-∗∗

Raul Neto-Utah Jazz (4,000): For those of you who haven’t been in on the Jazz’ most recent surge into the Wester Conference playoff race, Neto is the Brazilian rookie starting and soaking up plenty of playing time for Utah.  He could be in line for even more playing time tonight depending on if the team ships out Trey Burke as is being rumored as of this morning.  Neto was limited by foul trouble in the Jazz second-to-last game before the break but had played over 25 minutes in the other six of his last seven games with at least 19 fantasy points in each of those contests including four games over 20 fantasy points. Given his ultra-cheap price, that’s enough to make him worth a look if you dive to the bottom of the PG pool in tonight’s contest.
