High Salary PF

Derrick Favors-Utah Jazz (7,000): I’d avoid Kevin Love until we see just how healthy he is leaving Favors and Aldridge as the other high-priced PF that I think make sense for tonight.  Favors had a big game in New Orleans right before the break scoring 29 points to go with six boards on his way to 39 fantasy points. He has at least 36 fantasy points in four off is last five games, and he definitely makes sense against the Wizards who don’t have a big PF to go alongside Marcin Gortat.

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (6,900): Playing LA in LA makes sense tonight since he’ll be taking on the Clippers who are still without Blake Griffin.  Aldridge had his best stretch as a Spur leading up to the All Star break producing at least 35 fantasy points in six straight games including an outburst of 52 fantasy points against the Pelicans on February 3. Aldridge has at least 21 points in five of his last six games and has been adding solid rebounding as well.  He’s actually a little under-priced, in my opinion, given his recent production. ∗∗
