High Salary PF

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,000): Cousins, George Karl, and the Kings host the Nuggets tonight who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing PF so far this season and have had a revolving door at center.  Cousins had a huge start to 2016 before slowing down a little on the Kings’ road trip before the end of the first half.  Since he’s back at home tonight and in such a good matchup, he’s my favorite 10K plus option tonight and it wouldn’t surprise me if he went off for a crazy night of 60+ fantasy points. He’s risky because he’s volatile and expensive, but he should be able to deliver in this good matchup at Sleep Train Arena tonight.

Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (7,800): Most of the top-flight PF tonight come in with a few bad games in their recent history, but I like Millsap to put together a good game against the Heat who will be without both Chris Bosh and Hassan Whiteside tonight. Millsap has taken on Miami three times this season and has averaged 15.7 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and 1.7 steals.  He had just 28 fantasy points against the Bulls in his last game before the break but had over 35 in each of his three previous games including a game with 57.25 fantasy points against the Magic. Given the Heat’s frontcourt situation, look for Millsap to produce tonight.

Kristaps Porzingis-New York Knicks (7,300): Porzingis had a great first half to his rookie season and finished with some nice momentum posting multiple blocks in three straight games while scoring 17 or more points and finishing with 36 or more fantasy points. Porzingis and the Knicks face the Nets tonight who he averaged 15.5 points and ten boards against in his two previous meetings. Given the extra rest, fatigue should be no factor for the Latvian rookie sensation, so look for Porzingis to star the second half with a strong performance tonight.

Zach Randolph-Memphis Grizzlies (7,100): The Grizzlies start their second half with a brutal matchup against the Timberwolves who are starting Gorgui Dieng and Karl-Anthony Towns up front while the Grizzlies don’t have Marc Gasol to match up with them. Randolph will be the focus of the offense more than usual going forward and will likely play more small-ball center.  He’ll get all the minutes he can handle against the size of Minnesota tonight and is coming off of at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games before the break. ∗∗∗

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (6,900): Last night, the Spurs were a big disappointment for DFS fantasy owners (including me).  Kawhi was unable to play and the Spurs didn’t keep things close against the Clippers resulting in just 25 minutes for Aldridge who finished with a measly 15.25 fantasy points. He’ll look to bounce back tonight against the Lakers, though, who he abused for 26 points and nine rebounds earlier this month on his way to 39.75 fantasy points. Kawhi’s status for tonight is unclear, but either way Aldridge should be able to get his production down low against the iffy Lakers frontcourt defense. ∗∗

Gorgui Dieng-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,700): Speaking of the Timberwolves big front line, Dieng is now officially a PF on DraftKings which helps him be more of an option than when he was a center.  Dieng had an impressive run before the break with at least 35 fantasy points in six of his last eight games.  He had six double-doubles in his last seven games and really seemed to gel well with Karl-Anthony Towns giving the long-suffering Minnesota fans a glimpse of a really nice frontcourt of the future.
