High Value PF

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (6,000): Gordon’s emergence over the last few weeks allowed the team to trade off Tobias Harris for Ersan Ilyasova although Ilyasova could force Gordon to slide to SF more than the PF role he has been playing.  Gordon made a name for himself in the dunk contest, but he was playing well before the break as well with at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last seven games. The only risk with Gordon at this point is that he could lose some minutes, but overall he has great upside for a 6K pickup.

Bobby Portis-Chicago Bulls (4,500): Portis had a second straight double-double last night posting 13 points, ten rebounds, and 28 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Cavaliers.  He should continue to get enough playing time to be a solid cheap option tonight as the Bulls take on the Raptors.

Amar’e Stoudemire-Miami Heat (4,200): Stoudemire had a bit of a revival over the last month in Miami as he helped fill in for Hassan Whiteside.  Miami will need him to continue to drink from the fountain of youth as they start the second half tonight without Whiteside and Chris Bosh as they take on Paul Millsap, Al Horford and the Hawks.  When the Heat played the Hawks on January 31, Stoudemire had 13 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals on his way to 36.5 fantasy points.  He’s one of the best cheap plays tonight since he’ll get all the minutes he can handle and has been surprisingly productive recently for Miami.
