High Salary Centers

Tyler Seguin – Dallas Stars ($8,600): Seguin goes tonight against the Bruins. He had a hat trick against them the last time that he faced them. Over his last 10 games, Seguin has 15 points (seven goals and eight assists), 77 face-off wins, and 38 shots on goal. He has 68 points (32 goals and 36 assists) this season. The Stars center averages 4.9 fantasy hockey points per game.

Connor McDavid – Edmonton Oilers ($7,000): McDavid has been on fire over his last 10 games. He has 14 points (five goals and nine assists) and 25 shots on goal during that span. Connor McDavid has at least one point in five of his last six games. McDavid has 26 points (10 goals and 16 assists) this season and he goes tonight against the Avalanche. The Oilers center averages four fantasy hockey points per game.

Nicklas Backstrom – Washington Capitals ($6,900): Backstrom has been extremely efficient this season with 54 points (17 goals and 37 assists) and 485 face-off wins in 54 games. Over his last 10 games, he has a goal and eight assists for nine points. He has at least one point in four of his last five games. Backstrom goes tonight against the Devils averaging 3.6 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value Centers

Vincent Trocheck – Florida Panthers ($4,900): Trocheck has 36 points (17 goals and 19 assists) in 58 games this season with 90 hits, 358 face-off wins, and 122 shots on goal. Over his last 10 games, Vincent Trocheck has 11 points (four goals and seven assists), 23 hits, 84 face-off wins, and 27 shots on goal. He goes tonight against the Jets who are among the league’s worst teams against centers. The Panthers center averages 2.8 fantasy points per game (including 4.2 per game over his last 10 games).

Marcus Johansson – Washington Capitals ($4,400): Johansson has been incredible since moving to center. He has eight points (four goals and four assists) over his last 10 games. On the season, Johansson has 34 points (14 goals and 20 assists) in 49 games. The Capitals center goes tonight against the Devils averaging 2.6 fantasy hockey points per game.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau – Ottawa Senators ($3,800): The diminutive center is one of the cheapest players on DraftKings. He is also one of the best values. Over his last 10 games, Pageau has eight points (two goals and six assists), 25 hits, 82 face-off wins, and 16 shots on goal. Pageau has 24 points (13 goals and 11 assists) in 59 games this season. He goes tonight against the Red Wings averaging 2.3 fantasy points per game.
