High Value C

Andrew Bogut-Golden State Warriors (4,800): The Blazers went small and out-Warriored the Warriors last night and blew them out early.  As a result, Bogut played just 14 minutes and finished with three boards, three blocks, and two points. He was spotted limping after the game and icing his ankle, but there hasn’t been any news that his status for tonight will be affected. With Festus Ezeli out, the Warriors will need Bogut tonight against the Clippers DeAndre Jordan, and before the break Bogut was playing well including a monster game against the Rockets in which he totaled 13 points, 11 rebounds, six blocks, and 43.7 fantasy points. While I doubt he returns to that level of productivity, if he is able to play tonight, he should be one of the best options under 5K at center tonight.

Miles Plumlee-Milwaukee Bucks (3,500): While his designation as “starter” in Milwaukee hasn’t resulted in a huge bump in minutes, Plumlee is the best option if you go super-cheap at center.  He had six points, six rebounds, and three blocks last night against Charlotte while Greg Monroe did virtually nothing (18.2 fantasy points in 30 minutes) coming off the bench.  Plumlee has at least 17 fantasy points in five of his last eight games despite not playing over 20 minutes in any of them, so even in his limited role he can be worth a look if you punt your center position and load up elsewhere.
