High Value SF

Luol Deng-Miami Heat (4,800): Deng had a throwback performance to the days when he carried the Bulls for a few stretches during his years in Chicago.  He poured in 30 points last night against the Hawks making 11-17 from the field and adding 11 rebounds and four steals.  With Dwyane Wade doubtful and Chris Bosh without a timetable to return, Deng will try to carry the offensive load again tonight, and he’s in a great matchup to do just that as he and the Heat take on the Wizards who allow the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF and are playing their third game in as many nights.

Justise Winslow-Miami Heat (4,000): Another Miami player pressed into a bigger role due to all the injuries and suspensions last night was Miami rookie Justise Winslow who played 37 minutes and posted a very nice 25.8 fantasy points on 13 points and nine rebounds. Look for him to continue in a larger role again tonight in a favorable matchup against the small-balling, road-weary Wizards in South Beach.

Mike Scott-Atlanta Hawks (3,600): If you have to go cheaper than Winslow, Mike Scott’s expanded playing time for the Hawks is worth noting.  He has played over 20 minutes in each of his last two games and has over 20 fantasy points in each of the last three games in which he has carried that level of workload.  He had 21.2 fantasy points last night against Miami and could be productive again tonight if he gets the playing time. Even if you don’t play Scott tonight due to the other options available, his playing time is worth monitoring for future flier potential.
