FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 20
High Salary PF
Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (8,400): Draymond was one of the few Warriors who were productive last night but an ugly nine turnovers scarred his 14-points, 12-rebound, eight-assist night. He has failed to reach 40 fantasy points in each of his last four games, but I think he’s set up for success tonight against the Blake-less Clippers. His recent struggles make him risky, but his dropping price makes him worth a look tonight. ∗∗
Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (7,900): Millsap didn’t go off last night against the short-handed Heat, but he did post a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds while adding four assists for a total of 30.6 fantasy points. He was limited by foul trouble early, but he should be able to bounce back with a strong night tonight against the Bucks who have allowed the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF so far this season. Millsap had 23 points, ten rebounds, six assists, four blocks, and two steals in the earlier meeting of these two teams this season, and I think he’ll have another good and balanced stat line tonight as the Hawks try to bounce back from yesterday’s embarrassment. ∗∗∗∗
Kristaps Porzingis-New York Knicks (6,800): Porzingis had 34.6 fantasy points last night against the Nets finishing with 18 points, eight rebounds, three blocks, and two assists. He has at least 33 fantasy points in four straight games and has multiple blocks in each of those contests. He and the young bigs from Minnesota will be a fun matchup to watch tonight. When he faced Towns earlier this season, Porzingis had seven blocks but only shot 4-14 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds. Fatigue may again slow him down in the second half, but he should still be fresh after just one game after his week off since the Futures game.∗∗∗
Gorgui Dieng-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,500): Dieng and Karl-Anthony Towns have combined to make the T-Wolves frontcourt incredibly solid lately. Dieng is playing big minutes with Kevin Garnett out and has topped 40 minutes in three of his last four contests. He has double-doubles in each of his last five games and seven of his last eight while adding solid defensive numbers as well totaling over 33 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games including a monster game with 51.1 fantasy points against the Bulls earlier this month. Dieng’s minutes make him the lowest-risk big man on the board in what should be a great showdown with Porzingis and the Knicks.∗∗∗∗∗
