Golden State Warriors

Maybe you’ve heard, but the Golden State Warriors are pretty damn good at basketball. They’re still on pace to set the record for the greatest single-season record in the history of the NBA and are doing so in the most entertaining way possible. Oh yeah, they also happen to be the defending champions of the league and have the reigning MVP (and favorite to repeat as the winner of the award) in Stephen Curry.

Given all of this, it’s probably the least shocking thing on planet earth that the Warriors didn’t make a trade at the deadline and apparently weren’t even remotely close. There are plenty of really good teams around the league where a bit of tinkering would’ve made sense to help with a playoff push, but the Warriors are far from being one of those teams.

Yes, Golden State is stupidly talented. But their most underrated strength is team chemistry. They all work so well together and really operate more like a brotherhood who happens to play basketball rather than just an NBA team. Moreover, when you run a style that everyone in the league is trying to replicate, why change the style? Subsequently, that they didn’t even consider messing that up at the trade deadline is a win for them.
