Andre Drummond fails miserably at highlight reel dunk attempt (Video)

Andre Drummond tried to get the top spot on ESPN later Sunday night but it didn’t really work out. 

Andre Drummond is one of the more fun big men in all of the NBA to watch, and a lot of that has to do with his power down low. Time and time again we’ve seen the Detroit Pistons star throw down some pretty jaw-dropping dunks that made you think the rim was going to fall off, which again adds to the entertainment of watching him.

But on Sunday afternoon, he tried to take things just a little too far and he paid the price for it.

Sunday the Pistons are taking on the New Orleans Pelicans and at one point in the third Drummond had the ball beyond the three point line and he had his sights set on driving the lane and making us all fall out of our seats.

Well … we did fall out of our seats, but it was more because of laughter.

He tried there, and you have the give the dude credit for that. Was it the best idea in the world? No, he should know better than that, he’s not Russell Westbrook for crying out loud.
