High Salary C

Pau Gasol-Los Angeles Lakers (8,500): Gasol leads a nice group of centers over 7K tonight as he takes on his former team the Lakers in a nice matchup tonight.  Gasol had 48.25 fantasy points against LA in LA when he faced them at the end of January and he has at least 44 fantasy points in three of his last five games.  He fell just one assist short of a triple-double on Friday against Toronto, and I think he’ll be primed to go off tonight against the Lakers who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing centers so far this season.

Brook Lopez-Brooklyn Nets (7,400):  Lopez started the second half with 33 points to go with eight rebounds and four blocks on his way to 55 fantasy points. He has at least 50 fantasy points in three of his last nine games, and he should be able to put together another good line tonight against the Hornets front line which does have Al Jefferson back, but big Al is still getting back to full strength so slowing down Lopez will be a tall task.

Nikola Vucevic-Orlando Magic (7,400): Vooch continued his recent run of solid, balanced performances and should continue to be a great play as long as coach Scott Skiles continues to go with such a short rotation that give Vucevic 35+ minutes most nights.  On Friday, Vucevic had 21 points, 12 boards, three assists, and two blocks on his way to 46 fantasy points giving him over 45 fantasy points in each of his last three contests.

Jonas Valanciunas-Toronto Raptors (6,100): If you need a cheaper option than the 8K plays, my favorite mid-range play is Jonas Valanciunas who had 25 points and 12 rebounds to get to 44 fantasy points against the Bulls on Friday.  Valanciunas has at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games and is a solid mid-range play tonight against the Gasol-less Grizzlies.
