High Value PG

Jordan Clarkson-Los Angeles Lakers (5,300): The Lakers have been getting solid play from Clarkson in the backcourt throughout the season, and he has consistently provided good scoring and some solid peripherals lately.  He has at least 18 points in four of his last five games and has posted at least 35 fantasy points in three of his last four.  Against the Spurs on Friday, Clarkson opened the second half with 20 points, six assists, three boards, and two steals.  He will look to continue his recent run of success as he faces the Bulls tonight who allow the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing PG and have been struggling even more lately without Butler in the mix defensively. ∗∗

Jose Juan Berea-Dallas Mavericks (4,200): Berea could be lined up for a huge opportunity depending on the status of Deron Williams.  Williams had a great game on Friday against Orlando but is questionable tonight with an ankle injury.  Berea could get more minutes and even start if Williams is out although Devin Harris is expected to return tonight after a ten-game absence.  Berea would be my pick of the backup Dallas PG’s though and is a streaky contributor.  He has posted 15 fantasy points or more in seven of his last ten games and can give you 25-30 fantasy points if he gets starters minutes tonight and he can get his shot dropping. With Williams-∗ No D-Will-

Cory Joseph-Toronto Raptors (4,100): Joseph continues to be one of the best cheap options at PG as he loge pretty substantial minutes for the Raptors coming off the bench.  Joseph has played at least 23 minutes in each of Toronto’s last ten tames and has 19 or more fantasy points in eight of his last ten contests.  He has reached 25 fantasy points in two of those games including his last contest when he scored 11 points to go with five boards and five assists against the Bulls on Friday.  Joseph isn’t flashy and doesn’t have an ultra-high ceiling, but he is a reliable producer at just over 4K which gives him value tonight against a Memphis team that likes to play small which should allow him to play minutes alongside Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan.
