High Salary PF

Derrick Favors-Utah Jazz (7,200): Favors could be a problem for the Blazers and their small-ball attack since both he and Rudy Gobert could present a big mismatch down low. He is coming off a monster game Friday against the Celtics when he had 23 points, ten boards, six assists, three blocks and a huge 51 fantasy points. He has posted at least 36 fantasy points in three of his last four games and in five of his last seven.  I like Favors tonight, but it is worth noting that the Blazers have actually held opposing PF to pretty low scores lately.

Zach Randolph-Memphis Grizzlies (7,000): Z-Bo is a solid play since he and Mike Conley will have to try and carry the offense the rest of the way for Memphis after the Grizz lost Marc Gasol.  Randolph was efficient against Minnesota finishing with 17 points and eight boards on his way to just 27.5 fantasy points. Hopefully, tonight he can return to the form that saw him notch at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games before the break.

Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (6,700): Young is in a good matchup against the Hornets tonight even though Charlotte is getting its size back with Al Jefferson returning on Friday. Young still makes a good play since he has at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games and is a double-double threat almost every night.  He had 13 points and nine boards against the Knicks on Friday but added five assists and a pair of steals to still turn in a very nice 35.75 fantasy points.

Nerlens Noel-Philadelphia 76ers (6,600): Noel has been effective lately with at least 30 fantasy points in four straight games.  He opened up after the break with a monster 24-point, nine-rebound game against the Pelicans where he totaled 45.25 fantasy points. He looks healthy and back to full strength after missing time before the break with a knee issue, and he’s a solid option tonight as the Sixers visit Dallas. ∗∗

Julius Randle-Los Angeles Lakers (6,100): Randle is another solid mid-range option since coach Byron Scott has committed to him as the starter at PF for LA.  He had 11 points and 15 boards against the Spurs in the Lakers first game after the break, and will look to continue his double-double momentum tonight against the Bulls. He had 28.5 fantasy points against Chicago when he faced them January 28, but in a larger role tonight he should be good for closer to 30 fantasy points. ∗∗
