Free Agents to Target

The Los Angeles Rams are going to make a splash in free agency and sign a big name to get everyone in the Los Angeles market excited about the return of the Rams. While the team will certainly focus on retaining some of their key defensive players and adding more pieces defensively, the Rams are going to make a splash on offense.

By now, everyone has heard the rumors of which quarterbacks the team might possibly target. Whether it’s Peyton Manning, Robert Griffin III or Brock Osweiler, every single quarterback that is available, will be linked to the Rams in some manner.

They probably are going to move on from Nick Foles at quarterback and they’re going to want to have a flashy weapon at wide receiver besides Tavon Austin for their new quarterback. Alshon Jeffery is one of those receivers that could be available if the Chicago Bears don’t give him the franchise tag.

In Los Angeles, Jeffery would immediately become the star of the show on offense and it would be paid richly. He’s also a physical receiver that could make tough catches against some of the better cornerbacks in the division.

If the Bears don’t use the franchise tag, the Rams should make a splash and pay Jeffery handsomely.
