Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (8,500):  Towns has been stating his case for Rookie of the Year loud and clear lately, and he is definitely showing he was worth the #1 overall pick the T-Wolves used on him last offseason.  Towns had 24 points, eight boards, four assists, and three blocks against the Knicks playing 41 minutes on his way to 48 fantasy points. He has at least 48 fantasy points in six of his last ten games, and he’s in a good matchup against the Celtics tonight who sometimes struggle against opposing big men and have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers over their last five games.  Towns definitely has the potential to be worth the price tonight, but he is a costly center to roll with now that his price is all the way up to 8,500. ∗∗∗

Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat (7,900): Whiteside came off the bench for Miami on Saturday but posted 25 points and 23 rebounds in 29 minutes against the Wizards totaling 58.75 fantasy points. He missed the first game after the break due to a suspension after injury had limited him before the break.  Now that he’s back to 100% healthy and producing great numbers, he’s a ply I like a lot tonight against the Pacers.  With Chris Bosh out, look for Whiteside to continue to put up huge numbers as he plays a big role in Miami’s offense. He still is a volatile option only because his playing time has been inconsistent and his temperament sometimes results in ebbs and flows. However, even though he’s not a lock he has undeniable upside tonight against Indiana. ∗∗∗∗

Jonas Valanciunas-Toronto Raptors (6,100): Jonas Valanciunas posted ten points and twelve boards against the Grizzlies yesterday for 31.5 fantasy points after 25 points and 12 rebounds to get to 44 fantasy points against the Bulls on Friday.  Valanciunas has at least 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games and is a solid mid-range play tonight against the Knicks at MSG as he tries to slow down the roller-coaster ride that is Robin Lopez. ∗∗
