High Salary SG

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (7,700): Klay had 32 points on Saturday to lead the Warriors past the Clippers and added seven rebounds, three steals, and three assists to get all the way to 53.25 fantasy points. He has reached 40 fantasy points in four of his last nine games . Thompson definitely has the highest ceiling of any of the SG options tonight, but its also possible the game turns into a blowout early in Atlanta or that Steph carries the load leaving little for Klay to do.

Khris Middleton-Milwaukee Bucks (7,200): Middleton is in a good matchup tonight against the Lakers who allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing SG, and he continues to log a ton of minutes for the Bucks.  He played 48 minutes in Atlanta and had 33.25 fantasy points even though he only scored 12 points.  He has at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last six games and usually gets it done scoring 20+ points and adding solid non-scoring stats as well. On Saturday, his shot wasn’t dropping but he had four steals, two blocks, four assists, and four rebounds.  Tonight he should be set up for success against a Lakers defense that struggles all the time but especially on the second night of a road back-to-back. ∗∗

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,300): Wiggins has made a mixed impression on DFS fantasy basketball players, but he’s been pretty solid lately and is contributing in non-scoring categories like he’ll need to if he is going to take the next step.  Wiggins had 24 points on Saturday against the Knicks but probably even more encouraging were his five boards, two blocks, and two steals.  As he slides to SF more with Zach LaVine playing more SG, Wiggins should contribute solid peripheral numbers.  He has at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last seven games and at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last three games.  He’s in a tough matchup tonight against the Celtics, but Boston has allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing SF which is where Wiggins could find room to operate tonight.

Monta Ellis-Indiana Pacers (6,000): Ellis had 20+ points for the second straight game after the break in the Pacers win in Orlando on Saturday finishing with 37.5 fantasy points.  He has been up-and-down throughout the season in Indiana, but he seems to be in a nice groove now and he’ll take on the Heat tonight who will either be without Dwyane Wade or possibly get Wade back but he’ll be playing through a knee injury which could leave him limited defensively against Ellis. ∗∗
