High Value SF

Luol Deng-Miami Heat (5,800): Deng has combined with Goran Dragic to carry the Heat offense while Wade and Bosh are out.  He had monster games with 53.25 and 49 fantasy points in his two contests since the break, and he’ll look to keep it going against Paul George and the Heat tonight.  Indiana’s defense against opposing SF is pretty good, so I’m actually not as high on Deng as I have been in his last two games, and I think he’s in for a solid but not spectacular night tonight especially if Wade returns. With Wade-∗ No Wade-

Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (5,700): Harris is still coming off the bench for Detroit, but he seems to be settling in very well, and I’d be surprised if he isn’t starting really soon for coach Stan Van Gundy.  SVG acquired Harris at the trading deadline and Harris has played 30 and 35 minutes in his two games with his new team totaling 25.5 and 31.75 fantasy points. He’s in a not-so-great matchup against the Cavs tonight, but he has tons of upside as his role with his new team increases.

Mirza Teletovic-Phoenix Suns (4,500): As if injury and a coaching change hadn’t muddied the rotation in Phoenix enough, the trade of Markieff Morris even further confused the roles and responsibilities at forward for the Suns.  Teletovic has scored 14 points or more in six straight games and has at least 24 fantasy points in each of his last three games which makes him a solid value in the mid-4K’s. Teletovic has the potential to go off in any game, and his high ceiling makes him the option that I like the most from the Phoenix forward rotation even though P.J. Tucker and Kris Humphries got the start yesterday against the Spurs. ∗∗

Shabazz Muhammad-Minnesota Timberwolves (4,100): Muhammad is a risk, but he also has the most upside of any player about 4K. The T-Wolves rotation has been inconsistent, but Muhammad got 33 minutes on Saturday against New York and had 20 points on his way to 26.25 fantasy points. He has five games in his last seven with at least 18 fantasy points, but he can also put up a dud from time to time like when he had a brutal -1.0 against the Blazers on January 31.
