FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 22
High Salary SF
LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,100): James had 50.9 fantasy points in the Cavs rout of the Thunder yesterday. He had 25 points, 11 assists, seven boards, and three steals in his 38 minutes giving him over 49 fantasy points in four straight games. He has a history of killing the Pistons and has averaged 25 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists against them this season. “Suck it up, LeBron” may be the new catchphrase, but hopefully he doesn’t suck if he’s on your fantasy team tonight. ∗∗∗
Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (9,300): A solid LeBron alternative at a slightly cheaper price is Carmelo Anthony who has at least 45 fantasy points in each of his last three games and had two strong games in Brooklyn and Minnesota to open the second half this past weekend. The Knicks are home tonight as they welcome in the Raptors who still don’t have DeMarre Carroll who would typically draw the Melo assignment. Anthony had 30 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists on Saturday and has been putting together nicely diversified lines lately while still scoring at an elite level. He hasn’t been quite as consistent as LeBron, but he’s also not on a back-to-back, so I like him better on a points-per-dollar basis. ∗∗∗
Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (7,500): Antetokounmpo has three straight double-doubles and has scored at least 14 points in each of his last eight contests setting him up for another big game tonight against the Lakers. “The Alphabet” had 19 points, 12 boards, three assists, and two blocks on his way to 36.9 fantasy points on Saturday in Atlanta and has at least 35 fantasy points in each of his last three games and six of his last ten. He’ll be a solid play tonight at home in a tasty matchup against the Lakers. ∗∗∗∗
