15. player. 51. <p>The Rams are, to be frank, loaded on the defensive side of the ball, but without a quarterback of the future to speak of, the franchise is in a bit of turmoil in terms of an on-field product as they move to Los Angeles. While a real argument could be fashioned that suggests that the Rams are even weaker at wide receiver than they are at quarterback, this is still a no-brainer.</p> <p>The Rams absolutely <em>must</em> come away from the off-season with quarterback and taking one in the NFL Draft is the easiest way to do that.</p> <p>Paxton Lynch isn’t a flawless player by any means, and there are real questions about his accuracy and overall polish right now. However, his talent is undeniable in terms of play-making ability and arm strength, and with an NFL frame and tangible athletic ability, Lynch brings a lot to the table that a franchise would love in a franchise player.</p> <p>Of all the teams in the middle tier of this draft, the Rams are arguably the team that needs to trade up in the worst way, but if they stay put, snatching Lynch at 15 would be quite reasonable for a franchise in need of a new offensive face.</p>.
