The buzz linking the Cowboys to various linebackers in this class (Myles Jack?) is very real, but if Bosa is available at number four, it would be insane to pass on him.

Dallas could certainly use another capable pass-rusher alongside Greg Hardy and with Hardy, nothing should be assumed with regard to him being in the organization for the long-term. In Joey Bosa, the Cowboys would be adding a high-profile player (and a “splash” move) that also doubles as arguably the best overall talent in the entire 2016 class, and that is the perfect storm for Jerry Jones and the decision-makers in Irving.

Bosa is the complete package as a high-end pass rusher and quality run defender at 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, and it is frankly criminal that he would fall out of the top three in this scenario. However, we see these sequences play out on almost an annual basis, and if the dominoes fall in the right manner, Dallas could somehow emerge with the best player in the draft without trading up from their perch at number four.

I’m tempted to say that not even Jerry Jones could screw this one up under this pretense but… well….

Let’s just say Dallas should prioritize Bosa if this happens.
. DE. Ohio State. Joey Bosa. 4. player. 123
