59.
Everybody loves Myles Jack if he is given a clean bill of health and, at this point, we will assume that he has it. Many mock drafts will have Jack off the board at this point, but in this scenario, things work out perfectly for the Dolphins as a team with a (very) serious need at the linebacker position.

To be clear, Miami needs more than just quality linebackers, and if Jack was off the board here, the Dolphins would likely contemplate a selection of either a quality pass-rusher or a high-end cornerback. However, Jack would be an immediate upgrade on the disastrous trio of linebackers that the Dolphins put forth in 2015, and that even takes into account that the former UCLA standout is coming off a significant injury.

In my personal opinion, Jack isn’t the safest linebacker in this class by any stretch (hello, Reggie Ragland), but his upside is undeniable as a complete physical freak and the Dolphins need that type of ball-hawk in the worst way. It will be interesting to see if Miami retains their top pass-rusher in Olivier Vernon, but even if they don’t, it would not be insane to select a linebacker over a pure pass-rusher in this spot with how this mock is moving along. Myles Jack is definitely a worth a top-10 pick if healthy.
. LB. UCLA. Myles Jack. 8. player
