High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (10,300): Davis was an absolute beast on Sunday finishing with 89 fantasy points on 59 points, 20 board, four assists, and a block against the Pistons. While Davis probably won’t reach those numbers tonight, he is in a great matchup against the Wizards who don’t have many options defensively at PF to slow Davis down.  The absence of Omer Asik (doubtful) could lead to more spread-the-floor looks like Davis had against Detroit.  While injury is always a risk with Davis, if he stays on the floor he should be able to continue his momentum tonight against the Wizards.

Derrick Favors-Utah Jazz (7,400): Favors has been very good in Utah’s last two games with 23 points, ten boards, and six assists for 48 fantasy points against the Celtics followed by 22 points and eight boards for 34.1 fantasy points against the Blazers on Sunday.  Favors will be at home tonight against the Rockets who have allowed the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF. He missed the teams’ meetings earlier this season, but he should be ready to take it to the Rockets tonight as he looks to post over 34 fantasy points for the seventh time in his last nine games.

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (6,100): Gordon has continued to play healthy minutes for coach Scott Skiles and the Magic even with the trade acquisition of Ersan Ilyasova.  Gordon has played at least 28 minutes in eight of his last nine games and has at least 30 fantasy points in five straight games dating back to before his slam dunk contest emergence.  Gordon is in a good matchup tonight against Philadelphia who has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing PF, and if Jahlil Okafor tries to guard him Gordon should be able to post a very nice stat line tonight.
