High Value PF

Ryan Anderson-New Orleans Pelicans (5,200): Davis has more upside than any other PF under 6K, but he can be streaky and put up some stinkers along with his good nights.  Anderson went just 1-12 for six points against the Pistons on Sunday afternoon and finished with just 11.6 fantasy points. He has under 15 fantasy points in four of his last six, but his other two games have both resulted in over 30 fantasy points showing just how volatile the streaky three-point shooter can be. With Omer Asik not expected to play, the minutes should be there for Anderson, but its never certain if he’ll be able to get his shot dropping.

Jared Dudley-Washington Wizards (4,600): While I don’t think Dudley is the right option to slow down Anthony Davis, he has been the most productive option at PF for the Wizards lately and has continued to play plenty of minutes even with the Markieff Morris acquisition.  Dudley has at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and he’s a solid cheap play even though Morris’s acclimation and Davis’s dominance could cost him part of his playing time tonight.

Jason Smith-Orlando Magic (3,700): If you have to go to the bottom of the PF salary chart, Jason Smith is a cheap play who could pay off tonight since he is clearly the backup center behind Nikola Vucevic in Orlando. Smith has at least 12 fantasy points in each of his last six games and at least 16 fantasy points in both of his two games since the break.  He could get some extra time if the Magic pull away from the Sixers tonight and since Phily allows the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers Smith is a gamble that could pay off.
