High Salary SG

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (7,700): Thompson has picked up his scoring lately and has at least 23 points in each of his last four games with over 40 fantasy points in three of those four games.  He had an impressive 53.25 fantasy points against the Clippers on Saturday night and followed that up with 42 fantasy points against the Hawks on Monday.  Since the Heat do typically shut down opposing PG pretty well (although no one shuts down Curry), Thompson is actually in the better matchup of the Splash brothers for tonight. Thompson’s non-scoring stats have seen an uptick recently as well making him a nice value at just under 8K at SG tonight.

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (7,200): Batum’s production has been a little inconsistent since the break, but he’s logging a ton of minutes for the Hornets who will be looking to knock off the Cavs in Cleveland tonight. Batum has played at least 36 minutes in his last six games with Charlotte and is carrying more of the load now that Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is out for the season. He seemed to gel well with new starter Courtney Lee and finished with 16 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds against the Nets on Sunday for a total of 38.25 fantasy points. He went into the break with three straight games over 40 fantasy points, and he’ll look to return to that form tonight against the Cavs in what should be a fun early game to watch. Batum has a high ceiling since he produces in so many categories, but he did post a pretty un-exciting 24.75 fantasy points in his first game after the break last Friday against Milwaukee.
