DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 24
High Salary SF
LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (9,900): James had a dud on Monday against the Pistons totaling just 32.5 fantasy points against the Pistons. He had been rolling before that, though, as he has thrived under new coach Tyronn Lue. James had at least 44 fantasy points in each of his previous nine games before Monday’s downer with over 50 fantasy points in four straight. He should be able to bounce back tonight against the Hornets who have struggled to defend opposing wings this season including letting LeBron average 24 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.0 blocks against them in his two previous games against them. Look for James to bounce back and be just fine tonight making him a solid option since his price is unusually under 10K.∗∗∗
Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (8,500): While his team has been the worst of the one represented by the top four SF tonight, Anthony has been the most consistent fantasy producer over the last few weeks. ‘Melo has posted over 43 fantasy points in each of his last four games and in seven of his last nine games. He has three double-doubles in his last four games and has been adding in solid assists numbers as well. He will have to deal with Paul George’s defense tonight as he takes on the Pacers, but given his recent run of production I like him to produce a good stat line again tonight. ∗∗∗
Chandler Parsons-Dallas Mavericks (6,700): Parsons only had 15 points on Sunday in a good matchup against Philadelphia in a disappointing game with just 26 fantasy points. Parsons has been up-and-down lately with two games in his last four with over 45 fantasy points and four games in his last six with under 30 fantasy points. Tonight, though, I like his matchup against the Thunder. When he faced OKC in late January, he had 26 points go to with five rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Parsons had run off three games of at least 29 points before cooling off against the Sixers, but I expect him to be aggressive and ready to roll for a big game for Dallas tonight.∗∗∗∗
Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,000): Harris has quickly acclimated to his new team in Detroit and is lined up for a ton of minutes going forward with Anthony Tolliver and Stanley Johnson both sidelined for a couple of weeks. Marcus Morris and Harris will bet all the minutes they can handle at the forward spots, and I like Harris to have a big game tonight against the Sixers who allow the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing SF and the third-most fantasy points to opposing PF. Harris has posted 25.5, 31.75, and 30.75 fantasy points in his three games with Detroit, and he should be able to surpass those numbers given tonight’s favorable matchup. ∗∗∗∗∗
