High Salary Defensemen

Over his last 10 games, Johnson has five points, 24 hits, 27 blocked shots, and 24 shots on goal. He has 22 points, 98 hits, 129 blocked shots, and 126 shots on goal this season in 53 games. The Avalanche defenseman goes against the Sharks tonight averaging 3.4 fantasy hockey points per game.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic – San Jose Sharks ($5,100): His teammate Brent Burns might be more productive, but Burns is too expensive with a $8,200 salary. Vlasic is cheaper and is a much better value.
