FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 24
High Value PF
Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (5,700): Turner is another option in the stacked mid-range of the PF slot today who costs just a little bit less than Dieng, Randolph, and Julius Randle. Turner has continued to produce solid stats for the Pacers and watching him go head-to-head with Kristaps Porzingis should be fun tonight. Turner has scored in double-digits in seven straight games and has at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last six games. He has totaled 11 blocks in his last three games, and his playing time and role seems pretty locked-in for Indiana at this point. The 19-year old has a ton of upside going forward as well as the potential to go off on any given night.∗∗∗
Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (5,600): Faried has been playing limited minutes lately due to illness but has still produced decent per-minute lines. He had 13 points and seven rebounds in just 22 minutes last night against the Nuggets. He has been productive when he gets time, but he’s risky for tonight’s game against the Clippers since it isn’t clear exactly how many minutes he can handle.∗
Jared Dudley-Washington Wizards (4,600): Dudley continues to see enough time to be a productive fantasy option while Markieff Morris adjusts to his new team. Dudley plays 27 minutes last night and finished with 30.3 fantasy points on 18 points, five assists, and four boards. He has at least 24 fantasy points in each of his last three games, and he actually may be better off when he’s not spending the whole game trying to play PF. His uncertain role in the Wizards’ new look rotation makes him risky, but there is upside to like agains the Bulls tonight.∗∗
Bobby Portis-Chicago Bulls (4,300): Speaking of the Bulls, Bobby Portis continues to emerge as a bigger part of their rotation and has played over 22 minutes in six of his last seven games while posted over 21 fantasy points in six of those seven games. He has been a solid value return over the last few weeks and should be a safe play tonight as well. Pau Gasol is a gametime decision as he battles the flu, and if Gasol is out Portis could get even more time and have more upside in a good matchup against Washington. With Gasol-∗∗ No Gasol-∗∗∗∗
