DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 25

High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (11,000): Westbrook continues to post 20+ points and 10+ assists in virtually every game while adding good numbers of rebounds as well to remain a constant triple-double threat and a consistent producer of at least 50 fantasy points. He has at least that number in each of his last ten games with five of those ten games resulting in over 55 fantasy points. He hasn’t gone off since he faced Orlando in early February when he had 76.25 fantasy points, but he’s in a good matchup tonight against the Pelicans who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing PG over their last five games.∗∗

Stephen Curry-Golden State Warriors (10,400): The other big name at PG tonight is Curry who is looking to continue a successful trip that has seen him post back-to-back games with over 60 fantasy points in his two games this week.  He has at least 55 fantasy points in  six of his last eight games and is contributing good non-scoring numbers while scoring over 30 points with regularity. DraftKings gives a bonus for three-point shots which Curry always takes advantage of. Look for him to continue to put up crazy numbers as the team finishes it’s Florida swing with a game tonight against the Magic who play up-tempo enough that the game should be a high-scoring track meet and result in big fantasy numbers for many of the players involved.∗∗∗∗

Damian Lillard-Portland Trail Blazers (9,700): Lillard is much more under-the-radar than Curry or Westbrook but had been putting on a nice run of his own lately.  Lillard has at least 35 fantasy points in ten straight games with over 47 in four of his last five.  He has scored at least 30 pints in each of those five games while adding solid steals and assists as well.  Tonight, he and the Blazers welcome the Rockets to Portland as they face the team for the third time his month.  Lizard had 31 points, nine assists, and three boards against them in their last meeting for a total of 54.25 fantasy points after posting 38.8 fantasy points in their first game this month.  He’s low-risk with plenty of upside in what should be another high-scoring game.  If you can’t afford one (or both) of the two megastars, Lillard’s a good alternative with just as much upside since he and C.J. McCollum are carrying the Portland offense. ∗∗∗

Jrue Holiday-New Orleans Pelicans (7,500):  If you’re looking for a midrange option, Holiday is in a great matchup as he takes on Westbrook and the Thunder.  When the two teams played just before the All Star break, Holiday had 23 points, six assists, and five steals on his with to 45.5 fantasy points in just 32 minutes.  That amount of playing time has become the norm for Holiday coming off the bench but still getting plenty of opportunity. Holiday has at least 20 points in each of his last six games with at least three boards and six assists in every one of those contests as well and producing at least 32 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games.  During that run, he has four games with more than 45 fantasy points, and I really like his upside against OKC who allows the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing PG and is on the second night of their back-to-back set while the Pelicans had last night off. ∗∗∗∗∗
