High Value SG

Evan Fournier-Orlando Magic (5,900): Fournier has been another member of the Magic to step up lately and has been playing a ton of minutes since the Magic unloaded Tobias Harris at the trade deadline.  He had foul trouble in one game, but has played over 42 minutes in five of his last six contests with at least 28 fantasy points in each of those games.  He has scored over 20 points in four of those six games and added good assist and rebound numbers as well.  Since I think points will be plentiful tonight in Orlando, Fournier should be set up to get his and return value once again at his sub-6K price.

Evan Turner-Boston Celtics (5,200): Another player stepping into a bigger role tonight is Evan Turner of the Celtics who will need to pick up his game as the team battles injuries.  Turner has been playing extremely well for Boston lately and can produce in a variety of categories. In his last ten games, Turner has averaged 12.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in his 28 minutes per game off the bench.  He has nine rebounds in each of his last two games but hasn’t quite been able to get to a double-double.  When he last faced the Bucks, he had ten assists to go with six points and six boards, and he almost always finds some way to contribute for Boston and for your fantasy team. Since Boston will ned him to be more involved, he’ll be a good play tonight.

Danny Green-San Antonio Spurs (4,900): Green had a great game last night in Sacramento scoring 16 points to go with seven boards and three steals for a total of 36.25 fantasy points. He has over 30 fantasy points in each of his last two games and looks to be emerging as a solid fantasy contributor once again after a rough start to the season.  Green is in a tough matchup against the Jazz, but he still represents solid value at under 5K.∗∗

O.J. Mayo-Milwaukee Bucks (4,500): If you’re looking for even more value and dipping down to below 4K, Mayo is the way to go as he continues to start at PG for the Bucks.  He has been working his way back to 100%, but has been able to post 36.25 fantasy points against the Hawks and 23.75 fantasy points against the Lakers in his last two games.  Coach Jason Kidd definitely looks to get Mayo involved, and tonight he’ll be matched up with Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart of the Celtics who are both battling injuries. He’s high-risk, but at such cheap price he has tons of upside to love as well.
