High Salary SF

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (7,700): The Greek Freak has been amazing lately with at least a double-double in each of his last four games and a huge triple-double in his last time out against the Lakers.  In that contest, he finished with a massive 75 fantasy points on 27 points, 12 rebounds, ten assists, four blocks, and three steals.  He hadn’t had numbers that were that crazy leading up to the game, but he had at least 40 fantasy points in each of his three previous games.  When he faced Boston before the break, he only managed 14 points, three boards, three blocks, two assists, and two steals for 30.75 fantasy points. He’ll look to improve on those numbers tonight in Boston as he takes on a Celtics team that is still searching for its defensive identity after getting trounced by the T-Wolves in their last game.  Boston has allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing SF this season, and Antetokounmpo should be set up for a solid encore tonight. ∗∗∗

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (7,400): Leonard looked good in his return to the court last night scoring 18 points and grabbing eight boards to go with four steals on his way to 40 fantasy points. Leonard has at least 39 fantasy points in five of his last six games now, and hopefully he’ll be ready to go tonight against Gordon Hayward and the Jazz in Utah.  He emerged from last night’s 28 minutes without a setback (that we know of), and as long as there are no surprises he makes a nice play with plenty of upside tonight.  His recent injury and the Popovic’s track record make him a high-risk pick, but he definitely can produce when he’s well enough to be on the floor. ∗∗

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (6,000): The All Star break came at a great time for the Celtics scrappy SF who was playing hurt but still logging tons of minutes for coach Brad Stevens.  Crowder has played well in Boston’s three games since the break with over 24 fantasy points in each of his three games since the break and in each of his last five. He went off for 27 points against the T-Wolves on Tuesday while adding nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals for a very nice 48.25 fantasy points. He may have to carry more of the scoring load again tonight with Marcus Smart and Isaiah Thomas both dealing with injuries, so look for Crowder to have a solid performance against the Bucks who he had 31 fantasy points against in 32 minutes in the teams’ meeting before the break. ∗∗∗∗∗
