High Salary PF

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (6,900): Aldridge had a great game last night although you can’t really see it in the box score or enjoy the fruits of it in DFS.  He completely shut down DeMarcus Cousins early and focused on taking the Kings’ big man out of the game which he did fairly effectively. Aldridge finished with just seven points on 2-11 shooting but his nine rebounds and five blocked shots saved his fantasy night from being a total miss with 30.25 fantasy points. He had at least 35 fantasy points in eight of his nine games before last night, and he should be back to that level tonight in Utah as long as he avoid getting “Popped.”

Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (6,700): Young is playing huge minutes for the Nets and will be in a good matchup tonight against the hodgepodge of PF option that Phoenix has left after trading away Markieff Morris.  Young had a down night in Portland with just 24.25 fantasy points on eight points and 11 rebounds, but before that he had posted at least 34 fantasy points in six of his previous seven games.  I think he’ll bounce back in a good matchup tonight and be a nice value play from a game everyone would rather not watch.

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (6,500): Gordon has at least ten rebounds in each of his last six games and has continued to get good minutes at PF despite the team adding Ersan Ilyasova at the trading deadline. He has posted double-doubles in each of his last two contests and has at least 31 fantasy points in six straight.  He should fit in well with the small-ball running style I expect this game to have, so I think he’ll end up with another big number at the end of the night. ∗∗

Jabari Parker-Milwaukee Bucks (6,200): Parker has been on a nice role with over 34 fantasy points in four straight games since he last played Boston.  He has been playing huge minutes but putting together nice, multi-faceted lines which sets him up well to visit the C’s who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing PF so far this season. Parker is a nice option if you need to spend around 6K for PF.
