High Value SG

Evan Fournier-Orlando Magic (5,500): Fournier has been another member of the Magic to step up lately and has been playing a ton of minutes since the Magic unloaded Tobias Harris at the trade deadline.  He had foul trouble in one game, but has played over 42 minutes in five of his last six contests with at least 27 fantasy points in each of those games.  He has scored over 20 points in four of those six games and added good assist and rebound numbers as well.  Since I think points will be plentiful tonight in Orlando, Fournier should be set up to get his and return value once again at his sub-6K price.

Archie Goodwin-Phoenix Suns (5,100): Goodwin lost his starting spot to Ronnie Price, but he still played 38 minutes against the Clippers on Monday and should get enough time to impact the game tonight especially give the struggles of Devin Booker.  Goodwin had 20 points but turned in little else on his way to just 20.2 fantasy points against LA. Tonight, he’s in a great matchup against the Nets who allow the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG, but he’s a little high-risk given his price, role, and lack of non-scoring numbers recently.

Danny Green-San Antonio Spurs (4,500): Green had a great game last night in Sacramento scoring 16 points to go with seven boards and three steals for a total of 33.9 fantasy points. He has over 29 fantasy points in each of his last two games and looks to be emerging as a solid fantasy contributor once again after a rough start to the season.  Green is in a tough matchup against the Jazz, but he still represents solid value at under 5K.∗∗

O.J. Mayo-Milwaukee Bucks (3,900): If you’re looking for even more value and dipping down to below 4K, Mayo is the way to go as he continues to start at PG for the Bucks.  He has been working his way back to 100%, but has been able to post 33.4 fantasy points against the Hawks and 21.6 fantasy points against the Lakers in his last two games.  Coach Jason Kidd definitely looks to get Mayo involved, and tonight he’ll be matched up with Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart of the Celtics who are both battling injuries. He’s high-risk, but at such cheap price he has tons of upside to love as well.
