High Salary SG

DeMar DeRozan-Toronto Raptors (7,500): While his teammate Kyle Lowry has a ton of competition for a spot from other elite PG, DeRozan is one of the few SG options who has the potential to go off for a monster night.  He had 31 points against the Timberwolves on Wednesday in the Raptors last game finishing with 46 fantasy points by adding four boards, four assists, and a pair of steals.  DeRozan has scored 20 points or more in nine of his last ten games and has over 34 fantasy points in six of his last seven making him a solid play against the Cavs tonight.

Victor Oladipo-Orlando Magic (7,000): Oladipo was questionable coming into last night’s game against the Warriors, but he played through his thigh injury and totaled 29.5 fantasy points on 14 points, six boards, two assists, and two steals.  He was limited to just 30 minutes instead of the 40+ he had been playing which does raise his risk again tonight against the Knicks.  If he plays his usual minutes, he can be a fantasy beast as evidenced by the 38 fantasy points or more he had posted the three games before last night’s, but the injury makes him higher risk since his playing time could be reduced. ∗∗

Bradley Beal-Washington Wizards (6,400): Another player whose injuries have caused his time to be limited is Bradley Beal of the Wizards.  Coming out of the break, Beal played under 30 minutes in each of Washington’s first four games and was held under 30 fantasy points as a result.  He finally got the run his fantasy owners were hoping for against Chicago on Wednesday playing 34 minutes but he ended up going 0-6 from three-point territory and still only finishing with 25.0 fantasy points. He’ll be in a good place to succeed against the 76ers tonight if he gets that much playing time, but he remains high risk since its unclear how much time he’ll be able to be on the floor of if his shot will start dropping when he does play.  There is a ton of fantasy potential in the matchup tonight, but Beal remains high-risk.

Evan Fournier-Orlando Magic (6,000): Fournier continues to be a great play as he steps into a larger role with Orlando since the injury and eventual trade of Tobias Harris.  Fournier has been a five-star play for the last week and has delivered over 28 fantasy points in each of his last eight games with over 32 fantasy points in five of his last seven.  Matching up with ‘Melo could be awkward for Fournier at the SF spot tonight, but he’s been playing such a heavy workload and has been so productive that I still like him a lot even though his price has jumped to 6K which makes him less of a value and lowers him to a four-star option for tonight.
