High Value C

Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (5.800): Jokic has a world of upside, but his playing time and production fluctuates wildly from game to game.  He has at least 25 fantasy points in each of his last three games after opening the second half with a 0.2-fantasy-point bomb against the Kings. He’s still risky given the different big men the Nuggets are trying to work into their rotation, but he has huge upside as he showed with back-to-back games of over 39 fantasy points in the last week.

Robin Lopez-New York Knicks (5,800): Lopez and Jokic have a lot in common in that they can both go off or disappear on a given night.  Lopez had just 17.9 fantasy points against the Pacers Wednesday after 38.6 fantasy points against the Raptors and 46.2 fantasy points against the T-Wolves in his previous two contests.  Lopez looks like he fits into coach Kurt Rambis’s plans pretty well, and I think he’ll play plenty of minutes against Vucevic tonight making him a slightly safer play than Jokic (although not totally safe).

Brandan Wright-Memphis Grizzlies (3,700): The most upside of the cheap options to take a look at tonight belongs to Brandan Wright the Grizzlies big man who had 15 points and six rebounds for 25.7 fantasy points against Bass and the Lakers on Wednesday. With Memphis in need of size after losing Marc Gasol, Wright will get every opportunity going forward, but he’ll need to be able to play more than his limited 22 minutes on Wednesday. He’s working his way back from injury, but he has an ultra-high ceiling as soon as he can increase his minutes.
