High Salary SF

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (9,900): If you’re going with a one-star lineup tonight, the one that I’d look to is LeBron as he leads his team to “The North” to take on the Raptors who don’t have DeMarre Carroll back yet to be their shutdown defender. James bounced back from a down game in the Cavs’ loss to Detroit with 23 points, seven boards, and seven assists in just 30 minutes as the Cavs cruised past the Hornets.  James has at least 42 fantasy points in nine of his last ten games and has over 50 in four of those games.  To get him at under 10K in a matchup where he’ll need to bring his top game seems like a steal since he has the potential to go off and carry the Cavs in “playoff-LeBron” style.

Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (9,000): Melo cooled off a bit in his last game managing just 14 points on 5-20 shooting against the Pacers on Wednesday and finishing with 27.9 fantasy points after posting over 40 fantasy points in four straight.  Anthony should be set up to bounce back tonight against the Magic who don’t have the size to match with him at SF and could be spent after last night’s loss to Golden State.

Rudy Gay-Sacramento Kings (7,100): Gay has been overshadowed this season by Boogie Cousins and Rajon Rondo, but he has put together a solid stretch lately averaging 17.3 points, 5.8 boards, 2.0 assists, and 1.8 steals over his last nine games.  He had a bad game against Kawhi Leonard (as expected) on Wednesday finishing with just 22.5 fantasy points but had posted over 31 fantasy points in three straight before that. He had a nice double-double Tuesday against Denver stuffing the stat sheet with 16 points, ten boards, four assists, four steals, and three blocks for a massive 46 fantasy points. Since he won’t have to take on Kawhi tonight, I think he’ll get back to his nice levels of production and end up being a good value in a game where points will be at no shortage.
