High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,100): Durant had 40 points and 14 rebounds when the Thunder lost to Golden State in Oakland finishing with 71.5 fantasy points. He also had a monster game his last time out finishing with 32 points 14 rebounds, and seven assists for 65 fantasy points against the Pelicans.  Durant will need to be on top of his game if the Thunder want to keep up with the Warriors tonight, and I think he’ll bring it and contribute another double-double with good numbers across the board. He’s a virtual lock for 20+ points since he has scored at least that many in 43 straight games.

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (7,800): If you don’t have the money for KD, “The Alphabet” is a solid alternative as he continues to produce solid multi-category nights of his own.  He has at least 40 fantasy points in five straight games and in seven of his last ten.  He had a monster triple-double against the Lakers on Monday with 27 points, 12 rebounds, ten assists, four blocks, and three steals for a massive 75 fantasy points. He followed that with 41.75 fantasy points against the Celtics on Thursday even though he only played 31 minutes.  Tonight against the Pistons, he’ll take on Marcus Morris and Tobias Harris in a nice matchup of young forwards.

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (7,600): Kawhi usually shuts down James Harden (as much as anyone can) when the Spurs play the Rockets. He does get his own production as well averaging 20 points, five rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.0 steals against Houston this season. Since missing the first three games of the second half, Kawhi has been excellent with 40 fantasy points against the Kings and 47.25 fantasy points against the Jazz.  Houston allows the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF, so look for Kawhi to continue his roll offensively even though his defense will probably be what wins the game for San Antonio tonight.

Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,400): Harris is fitting right in on his new team and has picked up at least 30 minutes in each of his four games with the Pistons after being acquired at the trading deadline.  Harris had 22 points and eight rebounds against the 76ers on Wednesday finishing with 35 fantasy points. which is his high-mark with Detroit and give him three straight games over 30 fantasy points. He should keep getting plenty of minutes due to the injuries to Detroit’s other forwards, and I like him to have a big game tonight against the Bucks who have given up the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing SF and the fourth-most to opposing PF.  Since Harris and Marcus Morris are splitting time at those two positions, he should be set up for success tonight. ∗∗
