High Salary Centers

He has 24 goals and 27 assists for 51 points and 145 shots on goal this season in 50 games. It is usually not advisable to start someone in their first game back from injury but strongly consider Malkin because he’s going against the Jets (who are ranked 30th against centers). The Penguins center averages 3.8 fantasy hockey points per game.

Anze Kopitar – Los Angeles Kings ($6,400): Kopitar is a great start tonight going against the Buffalo Sabres who just played on Friday night. He has 18 goals and 34 assists for 52 points with 57 hits, 51 blocked shots, and 131 shots on goal this season. Over his last 10 games, he has 10 points (five goals and five assists), 11 hits, 10 blocked shots, and 26 shots on goal. The Kings center averages 3.7 fantasy points per game.
