High Salary Defensemen

Oliver Ekman-Larsson – Arizona Coyotes ($6,300): Larsson has been a star this season with 47 points (18 goals and 29 assists), 68 penalty minutes, 128 hits, 55 blocked shots, and 193 shots on goal in 61 games. Erik Karlsson – Ottawa Senators ($8,000): Yet again, Karlsson is your best fantasy option and also your most expensive on the blue line. He is well worth his price though. Over his last 10 games, Erik Karlsson has 10 assists, 10 points, 16 penalty minutes, seven hits, 23 blocked shots, and 39 shots on goal. He averages 4.8 fantasy points per game.

Kevin Shattenkirk – St. Louis Blues ($6,300): Shattenkirk has 10 goals, 21 assists, 31 points, 60 hits, 91 blocked shots, and 134 shots on goal in 53 games this season. Over his last 10 games, he has one goal, three assists, four points, 15 hits, 19 blocked shots, and 20 shots on goal. Kevin Shattenkirk goes today against the Nashville Predators. He averages 3.4 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value Defensemen 

Shayne Gostisbehere – Philadelphia Flyers ($5,900): After a record 15 game point streak, Gostisbehere has been held off the scoresheet in his last two games.
