High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,400): Durant had 40 points and 14 rebounds when the Thunder lost to Golden State in Oakland finishing with 65.3 fantasy points. He also had a monster game his last time out finishing with 32 points 14 rebounds, and seven assists for 59.3 fantasy points against the Pelicans.  Durant will need to be on top of his game if the Thunder want to keep up with the Warriors tonight, and I think he’ll bring it and contribute another double-double with good numbers across the board. He’s a virtual lock for 20+ points since he has scored at least that many in 43 straight games.

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (8,100): If you don’t have the money for KD, “The Alphabet” is a solid alternative as he continues to produce solid multi-category nights of his own.  He has at least 36 fantasy points in five straight games and in seven of his last ten.  He had a monster triple-double against the Lakers on Monday with 27 points, 12 rebounds, ten assists, four blocks, and three steals for a massive 69.4 fantasy points. He followed that with 40.4 fantasy points against the Celtics on Thursday even though he only played 31 minutes.  Tonight against the Pistons, he’ll take on Marcus Morris and Tobias Harris in a nice matchup of young forwards.

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (7,900): Kawhi usually shuts down James Harden (as much as anyone can) when the Spurs play the Rockets. He does get his own production as well averaging 20 points, five rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.0 steals against Houston this season. Since missing the first three games of the second half, Kawhi has been excellent with 38.1 fantasy points against the Kings and 45.5 fantasy points against the Jazz.  Houston allows the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF, so look for Kawhi to continue his roll offensively even though his defense will probably be what wins the game for San Antonio tonight.

Trevor Ariza-Houston Rockets (6,200): Ariza has been playing huge minutes for the Rockets and had been shooting incredibly well before going just 1-10 in Portland on Thursday. He has at least 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games including a 25-point game in Phoenix that resulted in 43.7 fantasy points. He still managed 32.6 fantasy points against the Blazers despite his poor shooting since he had eight rebounds, six assists and five steals to go with his six points.  Ariza has 14 steals in his last three games and has played over 40 minutes in four of his last five.  His matchup against the Spurs isn’t ideal, but if Leonard focuses on Harden, Ariza could get some solid looks tonight.
