High Value SG

Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (4,900): LaVine is much more up-and-down than Fournier, but he has the potential to produce as long as he keeps playing 30+ minutes per game as he has in seven of his last nine contests.  He played 36 minutes last night in New Orleans and finished with 25 points to go with five rebounds on his way to 32.5 fantasy points. He has at least 21 fantasy points in nine of his last ten games and is actually a pretty safe pick since he gets so much run whether he’s starting at SG or coming off the bench.  Tonight against the Mavs, LaVine will look to keep things rolling along as he looks for a breakout second half to establish himself on the up-and-coming Timberwolves. ∗∗∗

Wesley Matthews-Dallas Mavericks (4,300): Matthews had been a shooter gone cold and was losing time to Raymond Felton, but he has found a little bit of his scoring touch lately and may be coming out of it.  He has at least 15 points in four of his last five games and has over 21 fantasy points in each of those contests. He played 41 minutes against Denver on Friday, but as long as he gets his usual playing time he’s a nice play at his reduced price due to his slump.
