High Salary C

Brook Lopez-Brooklyn Nets (7,400): Lopez has struggled in his last two games with under 32 fantasy points, but he definitely has the potential to bounce back tonight against the Clippers. Lopez had two games of 55+ fantasy points coming out of the break and LA has been giving up big numbers to opposing centers in their last few games including Boogie’s big night last week.  Lopez is a bounce back candidate in the late game, but he’s not a cheap gamble to take with his salary over 8K.

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,900): Washington has been bringing in big men with the acquisition of Markieff Morris and J.J. Hickson, but Gortat is still the main man in the middle.  He played just 25 minutes yesterday in a blowout win over Cleveland but still finished with 13 points, nine rebounds, and three assists for a total of 30.3 fantasy points. He has at least 29 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games and should be able to produce a nice line tonight against the 76ers who have allowed more fantasy points to opposing centers than any other NBA team this season. Gortat had a solid 12 points and 11 rebounds against Phily on Friday, but I expect him to exceed those numbers tonight.
