DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 29
High Value C
Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (5,400): Jokic’s production continues to yo-yo all over the place. Since the All Star break, Jokic has posted fantasy point totals of 0.75, 49.25, 43.25, 28.25, and 12.5. He only played 11 minutes against Dallas as the Nuggets went with an unusual small-ball look that actually seemed effective. The limiting factor in both of the two games with under 15 fantasy points has been foul trouble, so he should be set up for success if can stay in the clear tonight against the Grizzlies. His two down games were also on the road, while his two games with 40+ fantasy points were in his two home contests. Since he’ll be at home tonight against the Grizz I think he’s the best play under 6K at center tonight.∗∗∗∗
Steven Adams-Oklahoma City Thunder (4,300): Enes Kanter is too much of a defensive liability to leave him on the floor with DeMarcus Cousins, so look for Adams to dominate the playing time at center tonight. Adams played 28 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday and had a solid 24.75 fantasy points on ten points and nine rebounds. He has at least 24 fantasy points in three of his last four making him a good option if you need to save money at center. He’s relatively low-risk since he almost always produced something in his time on the floor as OKC’s starting center. ∗∗∗
Miles Plumlee-Milwaukee Bucks (3,500): He’s far from setting the world on fire, but Plumlee continues to start for the Bucks and has played over 20 minutes in three of his last four games. He has at least 21 fantasy points in three of his last five contests and is the best cheap flyer if you have to save money at center to spend elsewhere. ∗
