DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 29
High Value SF
Robert Covington-Philadelphia 76ers (5,600): Covington continues to be high-risk, but he is starting to get expanded playing time and producing more good games then bad lately. He has at least 21 fantasy points in six of his last nine games, and he posted 41 fantasy points against the Wizards on Friday. He’ll face Washington again tonight, and he has the potential to go off in the favorable matchup. There’s still a chance he disappears like he did last Wednesday against the Pistons (11.25 fantasy points) but he remains a high-risk, high-reward play since the Sixers definitely count on him for offense and are now rolling him out for 30+ minutes a game in most contests.∗∗
Lance Stephenson-Memphis Grizzlies (4,000): If you have to save money, look on the other side of the Grizz-Nuggets matchup and check out the reclamation project that is Lance Stephenson. Stephenson has been a disaster at his last two stops in LA and Charlotte, but he has actually been productive for Memphis with double-digit scoring and over 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He’s risky because he’s Lance, but he is getting enough run in the current Grizzlies’ rotation to be an intriguing cheap play against the Nuggets tonight. ∗∗∗∗
