High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,600): Durant has over 59 fantasy points in each of his last two games as a result of back-to-back double-doubles with at least 30 points.  He should be able to keep things rolling tonight against the Kings who allow the seventh-most fantasy points in to opposing SF. Durant had 20 points, ten rebounds, and four assists when he faced the Kings earlier this season, and I think he’ll have the best SF night tonight making him a solid option to consider if you can afford his 10.6K salary.  I don’t think he’s the best way to spend big if you consider options at other positions, but I do think KD is a solid pick if you  have the cash to go big at this spot.

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (8,000): Antetokounmpo is in a great matchup against the Rockets who allow the second-most fantasy points to opposing SF.  He’s coming off a down games against the Pisons when he only managed eight points to go with 12 rebounds and seven assists for 29.9 fantasy points, but he had reeled off five straight with at least 36 fantasy points before that contest.  He had a monster game against the Lakers last Monday finishing with 69.4 fantasy points on 27 points, 12 rebounds, ten assists, four blocks, and three steals. He didn’t have a great game against the Rockets in their first meeting scoring 18 points to go with six rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal, but his current form and his role in the Bucks’ attack make him a strong consideration for tonight as he looks to take advantage of the Rockets in what should be a high-scoring contest.

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (6,300): Crowder has at least 24 fantasy points in seven straight contests after his five steals and four rebounds supported his 14 points to 31.8 fantasy points on Saturday against Miami.  Crowder is averaging 18.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.0 steals in his five games since the All Star break, and I like him in tonight’s matchup against the Jazz in Boston.  Crowder is a multi-category threat when he’s on his game and should be able to produce nice totals tonight.
