High Salary PF

Derrick Favors-Utah Jazz (7,600): Favors demolished the Celtics when he faced them coming out of the break posting 23 points, ten rebounds, six assists, and three blocks on his way to 48 fantasy points in just 33 minutes.  Tonight, he’ll get a rematch in Boston coming off a disappointing game against the Nets on Saturday.  After posting 39 fantasy points in three of his previous four games, Favors struggled in what should have been a good matchup and finished with just 29.2 fantasy points on 13 points and 11 rebounds.  In a better matchup tonight, he’s a good bounce back candidate.

Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (7,000): Young had 21 points against Favors and the Jazz and will possibly take a bigger role in the Nets offense now that Joe Johnson has headed to South Beach. Young has at least 30 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games and should be able to approach a double-double tonight in a good matchup against the Clippers who are still without Blake Griffin.  Young isn’t as good a buy as he has been recently, but he has a good shot to get to 35 fantasy points which would be full value as he takes on the Clippers tonight.

Zach Randolph-Memphis Grizzlies (6,500): Randolph has been solid but not spectacular since Marc Gasol injured his foot and left Z-Bo as the main big man in Memphis. Randolph has played under 30 minutes in each of his last three games but has still scored at least 14 points in eight straight and has at least 24 fantasy points in each of those contests.  Tonight, he is in a great matchup against Denver who allows the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF. He has the potential to go off if the game is close throughout, but he hasn’t quite been as productive as Memphis will need him to be if they are going to stay in playoff position out West.
