High Value SF

Mirza Teletovic-Phoenix Suns (5,600): The Suns have been searching for offense, and the one consistent place they’ve found it is veteran three-baller Mirza Teletovic coming off the bench. Teletovic has at least 13 points in each of his last nine games and has produced at least 23 fantasy points in each of his last six.  Since the break when Markieff Morris was sent packing, Teletovic has assumed a bigger scoring role and now has at least 31 fantasy points in three of his last five including a 47.25-fantasy-point game against the Nets last Thursday.  Tonight, he faces the Hornets in Charlotte, but at this point he’s pretty much matchup proof since the Suns rely on him so much.

Joe Johnson-Miami Heat (5,500): Johnson was bought out by the Nets and joined the Heat over the weekend.  He made his Miami debut on Sunday against New York getting the start and playing 30 minutes.  He finished with 12 points, three boards, and three assists for 19.25 fantasy points, but the good news for those that want to invest in him going forward is that he stepped right into the lineup and got that much playing time.  Coach Spo obviously wants him to be a big part of the playoff push, and he should find success tonight against the Bulls who don’t have Jimmy Butler.

Mike Dunleavy-Chicago Bulls (4,300): With so few options, it’s nice that DraftKings continues to sleep on Mike Dunleavy who has returned and played pretty well for Chicago.  He has at least 22 fantasy points in each of his last four games, but his price has remained remarkably affordable.  He had 13 points, five rebounds, and five assist for 26.25 fantasy points on Saturday, and he makes the most reliable cheap play of the day at SF even though his ceiling may not be quite as high as some of the other sub-6K value options.
