High Value SG

Joe Johnson-Miami Heat (5,400): Johnson was bought out by the Nets and joined the Heat over the weekend.  He made his Miami debut on Sunday against New York getting the start and playing 30 minutes.  He finished with 12 points, three boards, and three assists for 17.1 fantasy points, but the good news for those that want to invest in him going forward is that he stepped right into the lineup and got that much playing time.  Coach Spo obviously wants him to be a big part of the playoff push, and he should find success tonight against the Bulls who don’t have Jimmy Butler.

E’Twaun Moore-Chicago Bulls (4,400): With the Bulls missing so many options, Moore has stepped up and filled a nice role for Chicago on most nights. He has at least 22 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games and had 28.1 fantasy points against Portland on Saturday in his most recent game. He has thrown up a few clunkers with under ten fantasy points, but at this price its unusual to get his kind of upside. With Rose-∗ No Rose-

Langston Galloway-New York Knicks (4,100): Another player in the 4K’s with solid upside is Galloway who had 27 fantasy points against Miami on Sunday starting in place of Arron Afflalo who missed the game with a knee injury.  Galloway had just seven points but added four steals, four assists, and five rebounds to get to his 27 fantasy points. He has at least 23 fantasy points in four of his last seven games, but his down games have been extremely harsh (5.2 fantasy points, 2.7 fantasy points) making him high risk unless Afflalo is definitely out again tonight. With Afflalo-∗ No Afflalo-

Markel Brown-Brooklyn Nets (3,600): Brown is an even cheaper option who could be lined up for minutes in a good matchup tonight.  Wayne Ellington may not be able to go against his former team, the Lakers, due to a concussion which would leave plenty of minutes for the athletic Markel Brown  who has at least 15 fantasy points in four of his last five games.  He had eight points and five assists on Monday after Ellington departed, and if he starts and gets close to 30 minutes again tonight he could end up being the cheap play of the day. No Ellington-∗ With Ellington-too risky.
