FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 1
High Salary PF
Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (8,400): Tirade antics at halftime aside, Green had a productive game against the Thunder despite scoring just two points. He still managed a crazy 56.8 fantasy points on 14 rebounds, 14 assists, six steals, and four blocks. He played 44 minutes but should have gotten some rest in the two days off since. The Warriors will need him against Atlanta tonight since Paul Millsap and Al Horford both are tough matchups if Green isn’t on the floor. He had six points, 14 rebounds, nine assists, and two steals against Atlanta last week for 38.3 fantasy points, and he could be primed for even more than that tonight if he has to pick up some of Curry’s scoring load. No Curry-∗∗∗∗∗ With Curry or unknown-∗∗∗
Thaddeus Young-Brooklyn Nets (7,000): Young only scored nine points last night but did have 11 boards and four assists for 28.2 fantasy points against he Clippers. He’s one of the few offensive options left on the Nets after Joe Johnson’s departure, and I expect his numbers to climb in the coming weeks. He’s in a good matchup tonight against the Lakers, and I think he’ll bounce back with a good game tonight. ∗∗∗
Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (6,500): Gordon has been among the hottest PF options in the NBA lately with at least 30 fantasy points in eight straight games. He posted 22 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocks against the 76ers on Sunday for 39.9 fantasy points and had 31.7 fantasy points against tonight’s opponent, Dallas, when the two teams played right after the All Star break. Gordon is emerging as a go-to option, but as his price continues to rise he’s not as much of a bargain buy as he once was despite still being worth a look for one of your PF spots tonight. ∗∗∗∗
