16.
Rankins has been one of the fastest rising prospects in this class, to the point where he is a consensus top-20 pick at this juncture. In Buffalo, he would be a much-needed addition to a defense that violently underachieved a year ago.

The Bills, at least on paper, have a ton of talent on the defensive side of the ball and, in 2014, they were outstanding. That set the stage for Rex Ryan to take control of the squad and, presumably, guide them to an even better season, but that flopped in spectacular fashion, leaving Buffalo searching for answers at positions that they did not foresee.

In Rankins, the Bills would be adding a dynamic force on the interior, as the former Louisville product has big-time talent against the run and the pass. Marcell Dareus is the focus of everything that Buffalo does defensively, but this move would allow the Bills to take some pressure off their superstar, and Rankins looks like an impact player from the first moment he steps on the field.

Defensive line help looks like the path of least resistance for the Bills, but if they go elsewhere, look for the possibility of a left tackle prospect that could eventually replace Cordy Glenn.
. DT. Louisville. Sheldon Rankins. 19. player
